Unify Louisville to Host Food Drive

Unify Louisville is partnering with Dare to Care to host a food drive this holiday season.

Any person, storefront, workplace, school, or organization can request a box now through December 13th to fill for two weeks. To request a box of your own for free click here.

Collections can be started as soon as your box is requested, a member of the Unify Louisville team will both drop off and pick up the box.

Co-founder Elia Saltzman picks up boxes from Dare to Care.

"With this new food drive initiative Unify Louisville is hoping to help students who typically rely on school lunches," co-founder Elia Saltzman said. All food collected will benefit JCPS food pantries, continuing Unify Louisville's mission of helping the youth of Louisville.

Boxes will then be picked up between December 17th and 18th, some details are still to be determined.

"Our goal is to help students in need who have lost their access to food, especially during the holiday season," co-founder Lindsey Latts said. "This food drive is an effective way to so."
