Unify Louisville X Roo's Wish project

On April 16th, Unify Louisville will be collecting items for Roo’s Wish, an organization that works with students in the foster care system to provide them with essential items, school kits, Christmas stockings, and remodeled rooms. Unify is partnering with them to create graduation baskets for seniors in the foster care system.

“There are 65 kids in their program so just ensuring that on top of what Roo’s wish is collecting that every graduate gets a basket and a gift card,” president Dylan Breier said.

Unify will also be accepting donations via Venmo: @UNIFY-LOUISVILLE.

The event will be held at The Temple, located off Lime Kiln on May 16th from 12- 4 pm. Donations are also being accepted online from now until then.

“We’re very excited to be collecting donations and creating baskets to bring to them at the end of May. We feel this is a great way to honor the class of 2021 after such a tough year,” Breier said.
